Matthew W. Roy, 55, of Cicero, passed away on Sunday at the VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 2, 1959 in Muskegon, MI, son of the late Robert and Carol Roy. He served in the US Army and was last employed at Expert Auto as a car detailer. Matthew enjoyed motorcycling, he was a member of the American Legion, he was an avid baseball and NASCAR Fan. Matthew was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed.
Surviving are his beloved wife Paula of 24 years, his daughter, Melissa Roy, 6 sons: Justin, Zachary, Andrew (Jessica), Joshua & Brandon Roy, and Randy Hill, 9 grandchildren, 2 brothers: David (Socorro) Roy, Jim (Debra) Roy, 2 sisters: Christine (Jeff) LaRue & Terri (Mike) Nelson.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
