Matthew Wayne Leary

Matthew W. "Matt" Leary, age 59, of Kirkville, NY passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020.
Matt was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Charlotte Leary; brothers, Scott, Jim and Dave Leary; and grandmother, Cora.
Matt is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Bonnie Leary; sons, Bill (Melissa), Tom (Dream) and Mark (Tara) Smith; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Leary; and sisters, Kimberly Tarzan and Eleanor Poole.
Matt loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud US ARMY veteran. Matt was an avid fisherman and camper, and most of all he loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. Matt was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 12 pm to 2 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN, 38105.
