Matthew David Comerford, 34, of Syracuse passsed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 peacefully at home in his sleep. He was born January 11, 1978 in Oneida, New York to JoAnne Carney Vinette and Michael Joseph Comerford.
He was employed by Columbia Marketing Corp and most recently as a property manager in Syracuse, New York. Matt had a venturesome spirit, loved to travel & do anything outdoors. He had a special connection with animals, loved to meet new people & was always willing to help others. His passion was writing music and playing the piano and guitar. His smile lit up the room. In addition, Matt was very health conscious and enjoyed body building, taking long walks, seeing the sunset/rise and cooking healthy meals for himself and others to enjoy.
He is survivied by his mother, father, maternal grandmother, Cherry Carney; brothers, Kyle Comerford of Seattle, Washington, Kevin (Diana) Comerford and Joseph Vinette both of Syracuse, New York; sister, Heather (David) Lees of Secaucus, New Jersey; nieces and nephews, Zachary and Jarrod Lees, Olivia, Benjamin and Violet Comerford; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours.
