MaryAnne Hanford, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday. Mary was raised in Albany. She lived many places with her husband, before settling in Syracuse to raise her family. She loved family more than anything in the world and her two grandchildren, PJ and Katey lit up her life. She will be dearly missed
She is predeceased by her husband, Walter Hanford, March 12, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristin (Patrick) Hart; two grandchildren, Kathryn and PJ Hart; a brother, Jim Merry; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Celebration will be held at St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale, NY October 21st at 10AM. Burial will follow at the Onon. Co. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
