Mary Vastakis age 87 of Cicero, NY, beloved wife of Angelo Vastakis passed away peacefully on Monday August 1, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, she spent most of her life in Hamden, CT before moving to Central NY.
She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Surviving are her husband of 59 years Angelo, her son Steve (Heppi), two grandchildren, and relatives in CT and Europe.
Services will be private at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, Syracuse, NY with Father David Smith officiating followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Syracuse. Newcomer Cremations & Funerals will provide the funeral service.
