Mary Theresa Jennings, 81, of Eastwood, passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, to George R. and Beatrice M. Byrne. Mary retired from St. Joseph Hospital with 25 years of service. She was a member of Hilltoppers Club and the Syra-Sol Social Club. She is predeceased by a son, James R. Wentworth; two brothers, George E. and James P. Byrne.
She is survived by three sons, Robert C. Wentworth, Charles A. (Gela) Wentworth and William G. (Marybeth) Jennings; three-step-daughters, Jean Judware, Joan Allen and Jane Dolling; four brothers, Michael R. (Diane) Byrne, Richard C. (Jane) Byrne, Kenneth D. Byrne, Thomas R. (Deborah); two sisters, Virginia A. (George) Martin and Lynda M. Byrne; 17 grandchildren; 23great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday 10:30AM at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 1-5 PM, at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
