Mary Taglialatela

Mary Suzanne Taglialatela, 48, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at Upstate Hospital.

Mary was born in Syracuse on April 27, 1973 daughter of James and Maryann Boland.

Mary was predeceased by her father James and her husband Thomas Hester.

Suzy devoted her life to being a stay at home mom, as well as a caregiver to her parents. Suzy loved spending time with her daughter Abby, one of their favorite things to do together was the simplicity of sitting and talking about their day. The two of them shared wonderful memories going on mother/daughter shopping dates. She cherished all the moments she spent with her mother Maryann, and they always enjoyed watching there favorite TV shows together. Suzy had a great love for animals. She loved playing with her dog Cooper, and her daughter's bunny, Lola. Suzy was very talented at playing basketball, and most of all running. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her best quality was how she could make anyone feel loved, and how incredibly selfless she was. Suzy had a gift for being able to make people smile and laugh, something that will forever be missed.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Abby Hester (Logan); her mom, Maryann Boland; four brothers, Sean Boland, Timothy (Judi) Boland, Christopher (Catherine) Boland, Andrew Boland; her beloved pets, Cooper and Lola, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday Jan. 18th at 10am at Holy Cross Church, 4112East Genesee Street, Syracuse.

Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
