Mary "Millie" Spinelli, 89, of Syracuse NY and was a long time resident of North Syracuse, passed away December 14, 2020.
Mary was born in on December 9, 1931 to the late Joseph and Marion Plouffe.
Millie retired from St. Camillus. Millie's faith in God brought her to serve as a Eucharistic minister for the catholic diocese. She enjoyed crafting, singing in her church choir, participating in community activities with her dear friends Buffy and Helen. Millie was known for her humor, strength, and independence. After the tragic loss of the love of her life much too soon in their story with persistence and dignity she proudly carried on the legacy of being the matriarch of 37 souls. Her greatest pride and achievement was her family. She had a deep love for each of her 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Francis Spinelli.
She is survived by her Children, Ann (Jeffrey) Hamlin, William (Kim) Spinelli, Marion (Richard) Raybuck, JoMarie (Carl) Piper, Andrea (Patrick) Anderson; Brother, Raymond (Mary Jane) Plouffe; 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Camillus or the charity of your choice.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. A private burial will take place in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
