Mary Rothermel, 61, of Syracuse, passed away October 16, 2017.
Mary was born in Syracuse, New York on December 9, 1955 to Leroy and Evelyn Carpenter.
In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Carpenter, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, James Rothermel, Daughter, Cindy Purdy; Two Sons, Michael (Lori) Purdy, Anthony (Samantha) Rothermel; Six Grandchildren, Riley DeGouff, Bethany DeGouff, Kyle Purdy, Daniel Purdy, Maci Rothermel, Elsa Rothermel; Three Brothers, Roy Carpenter, Randy (Diana) Carpenter, Donald (Tammy) Carpenter; a sister, Tracy Smart; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Mains Street, North Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Friday at 5:00 pm.
