December 28, 2004 Mary R. Grosso, 86, of North Syracuse, died Tuesday at Birchwood Nursing Home in Liverpool. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area. She is survived by two sons, William (Lynda) Flannagan and James (Sharon) Flannagan; her daughter, Patricia (Edwin) Thorne; a brother, Richard (Marie) Dixon; a sister, Patricia (James) Burns; grandchildren, Jessica, Tracy, Timothy, James, Kelly, Susan and Lori; great-grandchildren, Emma, Cain and Bella. She is predeceased by a grandson, William Flannagan. Services will be held on Friday 10 a.m. at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
