Mary Patricia Young-McLerran, 86, from Syracuse, passed away on Friday after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late John R. Young, Sr. and Anna (Donahue) Young. She was also predeceased by her brother, William Young.
Mary was an artist and free-spirit.
Mary "Pat" is survived by her daughter, Denise (William) Seigart; a son, Donald (Sue) Schumann; grandchildren, Ryan and Maureen Seigart; two brothers, John R. Young, Jr. and George (Millie) Young; sister-in-law, Linda Young and many extended family members.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Feb. 13th 2-3:30PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 3:30PM.
Visitors are asked to bring one purple flower, to wear purple and to contribute to the Mental Health Association if desired.
