Mary M. Smellie, 81, of Liverpool and West Monroe, passed away on Sunday at Loretto Nursing Home. She retired from the Liverpool Central School District as a Teacher's Assistant. Mary is predeceased by her husband, William J. Smellie; daughter, Maureen Smiley; and a sister, Janet Amond.
She is survived by three children, Susan K. Smillie, William J. (Laurie) Smiley and Lanark J. (Diana Pendolf) Smiley; three grand-children, Shannon, Bryan and Wesley; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 8:30Am to 9:30Am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, NY 13088. Burial will follow at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of CNY.
