Mary L. "Mimi" Gardner, 78, of Brewerton, passed away, surrounded by family, on Monday. She was a member of the American Legion #915, a fan of NASCAR, and SU sports, enjoyed playing Pitch, and loved the sunshine on her back patio.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Gary VanGorden) Burt, and Michele "Micki" (Nick Pudney) Gardner; five grandchildren, Dusty, Sierra, Tracy, Frank, and Stefen; and several great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Gardner.
A memorial service will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, from 4 to 7 pm, on Thursday. Services will be held at 10 am at St. Agnes Church on Friday, with interment to follow at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Wong and the team at HOA-CNY, for all the miracles.
