Mary L. (Arcaro) Martino, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital with her family by her side. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born and raised in Eastwood, the daughter of Antonio and Grace Arcaro. She retired from Hallmark Nursing Home and then enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Andy; their children include Andy (Joyce) Martino, of Syracuse and their children, Missy, Todd, Matt and Rick; Maryann (Craig) McNeely, of Cicero and their children, Christine, Jenny (Steve) Sommers; Theresa (Gene) White, of Camillus and their children, Shawn (Elitha), Jeremy, Kevin, Erin and Brittany; Mark (Linda) Martino of Central Square and their children, Andrea (Ivan) Castro and Mark Jr.; Mike (Michelle) Martino of Baldwinsville and their children, Joe, Nick and Laura; Great grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Arianna, Cody, Marcelia and Colton; a sister, Philomena (Joe) Wierzbicki of Kirkville; a brother, Tony (Pat) Arcaro of East Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will follow in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
