Mary K. Brehm Janaskie 77, of Liverpool, peacefully passed into heaven in the intensive care unit at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday. She was surrounded by her children at the time of her passing. Mary was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church in Phoenix. Mary had been fighting breast cancer since 2011. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Edward J. Sr.
Mary is survived by her four children, Edward J. JR. (Bonnie) of Baldwinsville, Daniel of Liverpool, Ann Marie Janaskie Marks (Aaron) of Baldwinsville and Barbara Jean of Liverpool; 6 granddaughters; 10 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Daniel (Aldene) of Sunbury, PA and Frank (Emily) of Pensacola, FL.
Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8PM New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be Friday 10Am at New Comer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
