Mary Joanne (Hoey) Johns, 76, of Solvay, passed away on Saturday with family.
She was born on June 15, 1937 in Syracuse, daughter of Bernard and Esther Hoey. She worked at the Moon Library and then worked many years at Options for Independent Living. Mary was a wonderful mother and enjoyed spending time with family. She will be missed. The family would like to thank caregiver, Jess.
Surviving are her son, Ben Johns, III, 2 daughters, Arlynn & Mary M. Johns, 2 grandchildren, Luke (Nicole) Visconti, Shawn-Marie Visconti, 2 great grandchildren, Kida & Declan Visconti.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
