Mary Ann Hartmann
September 22, 1921 — December 24, 2018
My beautiful Mother, Mary Ann Hartmann, passed into Heaven on December 24, 2018 after a brief illness. For the past 20 years she lived with her daughter, Scarlett, in Liverpool, NY.
Mother was always very kind and loving to everyone. She was admired for her delicious dinner parties. She made sure everyone always had fun and that happy memories were made. She enjoyed love and laughter.
Mother was born on September 22, 1921 in Skaneateles, NY. She graduated from Skaneateles High School, and was married to William F. Hartmann in St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Skaneateles, NY on January 11, 1940. After living at the lake for many years, they moved to Syracuse. Mother was later employed by Chase Lincoln Bank. After retirement, Mother and Dad moved to Sebastian, Florida where she stayed until Dad's death.
Mother was a gracious lady who was very elegant, yet down to Earth. She had a generous love for everyone and was always ready to help others and make them happy.
Mother was predeceased by her dear husband, William F. Hartmann, Jr. and her dearly beloved son, William F. Hartmann III.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Scarlett Hartmann of Liverpool, NY; her daughter, Kathleen Komanecky of West Monroe, NY; her granddaughter, Melinda Robinson of Hastings, NY; her grandson, Harold Meyers of Fulton, NY and three great grandchildren. Mother will also be missed by her special friend, Dale Parker of Liverpool, NY.
Services are private. Burial will be at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Auburn, NY.
