Mary Gertrude Borland-Wainman, 59, of North Syracuse, went home to be with her Lord after a brief illness. Mary enjoyed life and loved to celebrate with her family and friends. Employed at RMS in Baldwinsville, Mary touched many lives with her personality and beautiful soul. Mary was always the life of any party and has created many memories of good times for those who are left behind to cherish. She loved to read and was a great fan of music, with some of her favorites being Bob Seger, The Beatles and Neil Young. She was always quick to win the argument that this was "real music".

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Borland, a brother John Jr., a sister Carol Jean Centore and her first Chihuahua companion of 18 years Molly. Mary has joined them and many others on that perfect cloud in heaven and will forever be with us as we celebrate her life.

Surviving are her children; John and Natalee Wainman, her beloved Chihuahua, Chico, a brother, Dennis (Liz) Borland, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins aunts and uncles.
Services will be Saturday, February 27th at 10am at St Rose of Lima Church, N. Syracuse, NY. Friends may call, Friday, February 26th from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Humane Society of CNY as her love for animals was her passion.
