Mary D. Gitzen, 70, of Liverpool, passed away on Tuesday at the Francis House surrounded by her family. She was born on May 31, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of 51years, Donald, Sr.
She was a member of the PT Cruiser Club and the Salina Town Hall Senior Citizen Club.
Surviving are her son, Donald, Jr. (Amy), daughters; Mary (Gary) Hewitt, Lisa (Jim) Galla, 2 grandchildren; Martika and Angelina, 2 brothers; Abraham and Frank Donato.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse with services to follow. Burial will be private.
Contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, 13208.
