Mary Ann (Wilson) Claeys, 73, of Sheppard Settlement, Marcellus passed away Saturday after a brief illness. Mary worked at Jordan Wire & Cable and Larabee Wire & Cable. Mary enjoyed food and owned the Skaneateles Village Diner for many years. In retirement, she had a vegetable stand and lawn ornament business serving the Marcellus area. Mary loved to cook and was famous for her cookies and outdoor barbeques.
She is survived by her husband Leon E. Claeys Sr., sons; Leon E. Claeys Jr. and Lawrence "Larry" Claeys, four sisters; Doris Hoffman, Helen Hole, Arlene Witty, Ruth Knickerbocker, a brother; Harold Wilson, a brother-in-law; Robert (Roberta) Claeys and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
