Mary Civello

Mary Civello, 92, of Clay and Elderwood, Liverpool passed away on June 28, 2024. Mary was born in Pozzallo, Sicily on November 23, 1931. She came to the US in 1947. Mary went back to Sicily in 1952 to marry her next door neighbor, Michael. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals and spending time with family.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Michael Civello; her children, Tina (Bob) Geiger, Michael (Nancy) Civello, Peter (JoAnn) Civello, Angelo Civello and Patti Decker; 12 Grandchildren; and 13 Great-Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings and her son-in-Law, Tim Decker.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Elderwood, Liverpool for their compassionate care for the past five years.

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 9:30AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
