Mary C. (Aviza) Prescott, 90, formerly of Framingham, MA, passed away Thursday at Rosewood Heights, after a long illness. She was an avid piano player and instructor. She is predeceased by her husbands, John Aviza and George Prescott; and son, Joseph Aviza.
She is survived by her sons, John and James Aviza; sisters, Janie Gould and Irene Currier; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be 10AM Monday at St. Georges Church, 4 School St., Framingham, MA. Burial will be at Smith Meetinghouse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5PM at Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons funeral home Inc., 11 Lincoln St., Framingham, MA. Local arrangements entrusted to New Comer Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
