Mary Byrnes, 65 of Clay passed away Sunday morning in her home. Born August 17, 1945 in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Mary Martiniano Selke and George Parrish.

Mary was establishing her own business, Flowers by Mary. She was a talented jack of all trades and master of many. She was a very passionate woman with a heart of gold who loved all her family and friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Jack Byrnes and siblings, Sharon Parrish and Jeffrey Parrish.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Randy Byrnes; daughter, Cheryl (Gregory) Berube; son, James Byrnes (fiancé, Nicole Craft); three granddaughters, Te'a Byrnes, Ashley and Vanessa Berube; siblings, Hazel Favata, Jacqueline (Steve) Lawlor, Diane (James) Miller, Karen (Mark) Catroppa and Ernie (Bonnie) Selke; mother-in-law, Marie Byrnes and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Friday, 10:00 am at the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Syracuse. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-7 Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
