Mary Elizabeth Bagley, 92, died peacefully Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at The Crossings, Minoa, with family at her side. She was a long-time resident of Lawdon Street, North Syracuse.
She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert Bagley, and was the last surviving child of Mary and David Cherry of Tipton, PA. She is also predeceased by sisters Grace (Ernest) Smith, Edna (Chester) McClellan, Anna (Robert) Bush, Rachel (David) Confer, and brothers Lee (Lula), John (Gertie), Alfred (Edith), and Clarence (Wilda) Cherry.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Ronald) Bliss of N. Syracuse and son Robert (Linda) of Lake Wales, FL; grandchildren Kimberly (Joseph) Rendino, Sandra (Christopher) Graham, Patricia Michalski, Paul (Jenifer) Bagley, as well as eight great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of The Crossings for their loving care over the past two years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 441 W Kirkpatrick St, Syracuse, NY 13204
Calling hours will be from 9-10am on Saturday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse, with services to follow at 10am.
