Mary Ann Winger, 78, of N. Syracuse, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday.
Mary Ann was born on January 29, 1935 in Buffalo to the late Frances Zawadzki. She was also preceded in death by her husband Calvin.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Dawn (Michael) D'Amato and Barbara (Mark) Rupp, grandchildren, Matthew (Kari) Rupp, and Katie (Brian) Swartfager, her great-grandchildren, Kobe, Karli and Kiptyn Rupp and Caleb Swartfager with one great-grandchild on the way.
Mary Ann was well-loved and known for her beautiful dimpled smile and pretty blue eyes. Her kind, gentle spirit and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many.
Visitation will be 10 am- Noon on Thursday, October 3 at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Funeral Service will follow at Noon. Burial will be in Bertie Brethren in Christ Cemetery in Stevensville, Ontario, Canada.
Memorial contributions may be made to Klingberg Family Centers, 370 Linwood Street, New Britain, CT 06052, a children's charity where her daughter Dawn has worked for over 30 years.
