Mary Ann K. Simchik, 74 of State Bridge, passed away July 29, 2021, after a brief illness.
Mary Ann was born on March 4, 1947 in Oneida, the daughter of Daniel Simchik and Irene Pitoniak Simchik.
A 1965 graduate of VVS High School, where she was named Valedictorian, Mary Ann then attended and graduated from Barnard College of Colombia University in 1969. Mary Ann lived and worked for many years in New York City as a computer consultant and programmer returning to Central New York in the early 1990s. Her career took her to several states as well as London UK.
She was a classically trained pianist, enjoyed gardening and loved all animals.
She is survived by her brother Daniel J. Simchik, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am, Saturday August 14, 2021, at St Mary's Irish Ridge Catholic Church in Durhamville by the Reverend Father Christopher Ballard.
