Mary Ann Sanford, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at Loretto Nursing Home, after a long illness.
She was born on October 17, 1949 daughter of the late Steven and Doris Vastag.
Nanny enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 sons; Michael (Cindy) Vastag of Syracuse, Ross Sanford, Jr., of Syracuse, daughter Michelle Metz of Syracuse, 6 grandchildren; Tina, Jessica, Nikkita, Sara, Roberto & Anastacia, along with 6 great grandchildren; Justin, Cody, Zachary, Makenzie, Lelend & Giovani, her brother, Richard Vastag, Sr., her aunt Shirley Fraizer, and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25th from 2-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
