Mary Ann (Cali) Arrigo, 87, a life resident of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday at home with her family by her side. Mary retired from N. Syracuse School District in 1994 after 25 years as a Teacher Aide at Allen Road Elementary. She was a faithful, kind and gentle woman who loved working in her flower garden where she felt closest to God. Her greatest joy was the love she felt for her children and grandchildren who now have a special angel to watch over them. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Sam, James and Joseph and sister, Lena Laskoski.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, James; daughter, Mary Anne(Gary) Muratore; grandchildren, Jason and Sheena of Baldwinsville; son, Frank (Linda) Arrigo and grandchildren, Meghan and Jason and great granddaughter, Arlana of Cape Coral, FL; brother, Louis Cali of Phoenix; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
