Mary Ann Catherine Benkoski

Mary Ann Catherine Benkoski, 66, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Syracuse NY. She was born on November 11, 1957 in Troy, NY.

Mary Ann was a beacon of strength and dedication, well known for her love of family and hardworking nature.

Mary Ann served honorably in the United States Army until her discharge in 1991. She then dedicated 12 more years to the United States Postal Service.

A graduate from Sienna College, she carried the values of education and service throughout her life. Mary Ann was a devoted mother and wife, loved by her family.

She is survived by her sons, Brian (Margaret) Benkoski, Craig (Paige) Benkoski; grandchildren, Austin, Adelyn, Logan and Laila; her sister Catherine (Wooster) Amitrano and Brother, David Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Mary (Gonsowski) Wooster, her husband, David Benkoski.

Calling hours to honor her memory will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the SPCA, reflecting her lifelong compassion for animals.
