Mary Jane Albrecht

Mary Jane Albrecht, 85, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, after a long illness.
Mary was an avid reader and spent most of her life caring for family, first for her younger siblings then her own children and grandchildren. She raised her family teaching them to enjoy the outdoors and nature by having weekly picnics at many state parks.
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Leon F. Albrecht in 2006; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her sons, Leon (Phyllis) Albrecht and Timothy (Candy) Albrecht; two brothers, Daniel and Kenny Burnard; and sisters, Fran and Betty; five grandchildren, Marta (Gustafson) Lomas, Kara (Gustafson) Melfi, Timothy, Nicholas and Corey Albrecht; two great grandchildren, James R. Lomas and Luca J. Melfi.
Visitation will take place 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A memorial service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNY Food Bank.
