Mary A. Winters, 43, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 19, 1971, daughter of the late Thomas and Sheila Giles. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed. She was predeceased by her step-dad, Mark Merritt, Sr.
Surviving are her husband John of 20 years, daughter, Ashley (Kyle) Attwood, 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Jr., "Boogie", Hannah, Annaleah, Jacob & Sofia, 2 brothers: Thomas (Beth) Giles, Mark (Kelsey) Merritt, 2 sisters: Jennifer (Brian) Catalina, Sabrina Merritt, along with nieces and nephews including, Melanie, Ryan, Austin, Mason, Peyton, Cooper, Amariana & Gordo and special friend, Pam George.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11:30-12:30 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be private.
