Marvin "Bud" Rosenfeld, 79 of East Syracuse, NY passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in 1932 in Syracuse to Morris and Sarah (Kabotchnik) Rosenfeld along with seven other siblings. Marvin served in the Air Force including during the Korean War and retired from Griffiss Air Force Base after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia (LeComte) Rosenfeld and his sons, Mark Rosenfeld of Ashburn, Virginia (wife, Judith) and Matthew Rosenfeld of Fresno, CA (wife, Barbara). Marvin had six grandchildren Emma, Elliot, Sarah, Samantha, Shelby and Sophie.
Calling hours will be held Friday 4:00-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. 705 N. Main Street N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday at St. Mark the Evangelist Episcopal Church at 1612 W. Genesee Street Syracuse, NY 13204. Burial will take place at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Episcopal Church at 1612 W. Genesee Street Syracuse, NY 13204.
