Marvin Hudson, 73, entered into the presence of his Lord on January 4, 2006, following a disabling illness at Loretto-Cunningham in Syracuse. Marvin was a resident of Liverpool and Brewerton and an active member and usher at North Syracuse Baptist Church for over 40 years. He was predeceased by his daughter, Janet Hudson, in December 2005.
Loved ones surviving are his daughter, Marilyn Parks of Chicago, IL and his son, Brian Hudson of Brewerton, NY; three sisters, Minnie Johnson of Syracuse, Betty Hudson and Jean Weaver of North Syracuse; one brother, Harold Hudson of Louisville, MS; three grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 9 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. Interment will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. There will not be any calling hours.
Contributions may be sent to the Ushers Fund at North Syracuse Baptist Church.
