Marvel J. Panaro, 82, life long resident of N. Syracuse, died recently in Las Vegas, NV. She and her husband, John C. Panaro, moved to N. Syracuse in 1951. While raising a family, Marvel was an active charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Cicero. She was N. Syracuse Village Clerk for many years. She retired from Hall & McChesney in 1981 after 14 years. After suffering a stroke she moved to Las Vegas to be with her family.
Surviving are her 2 children; Susan (James) Kelley, Las Vegas, David (Kelley) Panaro, Buffalo, 5 grandchildren, Monica Johnson, N. Syracuse, James Johnson, Las Vegas, Nicole, Jennifer & Matthew Panaro, Buffalo.
Calling hours will be held on Sat. from 10-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a short service immediately following. Burial will be private.
