Martin T. Furgal, 57, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday. He was born on May 23, 1956 in Syracuse, son of Stanley and Shirley Furgal. He was the previous owner of the Town Tavern in Mattydale. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was a Packers Fan.
Surviving are his wife Deborah (McCarthy) of 30 years, 3 sons; Martin C. (Jessie Jones), Daniel (Sarah Gucwa), Thomas Furgal, mother, Shirley, 3 brothers, John, Rick (Anne), Stephen (Kathy), sister, Mary Elizabeth (Eamon), along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Funeral mass will be held on Monday 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church.
Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
