Martin Getkowski

On June 25, 2019, the world said goodbye to an amazing man, who had a love for fixing things as he worked as a mechanic for over 20 years, most recently at Mr. Tire in N. Syracuse and more importantly endless love for his family. He was loved by not only family but friends. He was highly respected by his coworkers and customers, Martin "Marty" Getkowski, 46, of Hastings, NY, passed away at Crouse Hospital surrounded by family.

He leaves behind a loving wife of 24 years, Jennifer (Jones); daughter, Brittany (Ryan); son, Dennis; grandson, Ryder; parents, Anna and Henry; sisters, JoAnna (Jason) and Olivia (Troy); mother-in-law, Patricia (Everett); along with several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family.

Marty will be forever loved and missed.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 5th 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with sharing of memories at 7pm.
