Martin Flanagan

Martin "Marty" Joseph Flanagan, 71, of Cicero, passed away July 23, 2022. Marty was born in Syracuse, New York on May 29, 1951 to the late Ambrose and Mary Flanagan.

Marty worked for many years at Airside Technology. He attended LaFayette Central Schools. He was a longtime member of the South Bay Fire Department and member of the Sheet Metal Worker's Local 58. Marty enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his longtime companion Brenda Baldwin; daughter, Kierstin (Jason) Holmes; brother, Gregory (Jennifer) Flanagan; sister, Patricia Flanagan; grandson, Garrett Holmes; step-children, Joe Baldwin, Stephanie Baldwin; three nephews; and his pup Molly.

Calling hours are Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals North Syracuse with a service to follow. Interment at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
