Martha C. Hess

Martha C. Hess, 72, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, April 28th. She was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Loretta and Michael Murphy. She graduated from Most Holy Rosary and continued her education later earning her Associate's Degree through Manufacturer's Hanover. Martha was a communicant of Christ the King Church. At church, she served as an usher, helped and organized various productions and pagents, Children's liturgy commitee, living stations and taught religious education.

Martha was predeceased by her daughter, Colleen Hess; her husband, Douglas Hess and her sister, Loretta Carey.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Hess, Eveline Hess and Eric Hess; grandchildren, Lillian, Zachary "Boo" and Maya; siblings, Katherine Yarwood, Jane Campbell, Michael Murphy and Robert Murphy; several nieces and nephews and very dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9th 4-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 5pm. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery.
