Marshall L. Gardner, 67, of Liverpool succumbed on Saturday after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Port Washington, NY, Mr. Gardner was the owner of the Celebrity Den Restaurant for 20 years. He had previously worked as a Restaurant Manager in New York City. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and had a great love of growing roses. He is predeceased by his mother; Margaret and his sister Germaine.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ursula; his father; Harold of Port Richie, Fl., two brothers; Douglas of Conn. And William of Homested, NY, a granddaughter; Nicole (Jason) Bullis of Liverpool and a great grandson; Brayden of Liverpool. Services will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Calling Hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
