Marlene H. (Johnson) Holcomb, 74 of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born August 28, 1937 in Syracuse the daughter of Art and Helen Johnson. On July 13, 1957 she was married to George Holcomb in Syracuse. She was a member of St. Matthew's Church, East Syracuse.
She recently moved back to Syracuse from Florida where she was a resident since 1986.
Surviving are her husband George, of 54 years, son David A. (Mary) Holcomb, daughter Kim M. Battista and grandson Peter J. Battista. Pre deceased by a son Scott A. Holcomb.
Services will be held on Friday 11am at St. Matthews Church, E. Syracuse. Burial in Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the House of Providence, 1654 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY.
