Mark C. Sorrendino Sr.

Mark Christopher Sorrendino, 64, of Baldwinsville, passed away on April 28th, 2023. He was born to parents, Linda Alcaras and the late George Sorrendino on November 8th, 1959. Mark was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He began his service as of September of 1978 as an Apprentice Security Specialist. Upon returning from his service, he met and fell in love with Dawn Marie Gallup, and the two began a life together. They raised a Black Labrador to which they affectionately named JD, followed by two children. Mark was a passionate, loving, and humorous man who enjoyed writing, specifically poetry. He also enjoyed playing the lottery, and was often referred to as the luckiest person anyone ever knew in that regard.

Mark is survived by his mother, Linda Alcaras; his sisters, Susan Bowman and Annie Sorrendino; his brothers, Michael Sorrendino and Steven Sorrendino; his son, Mark Christopher Sorrendino II; his daughter, Brittany Marie Hartman along with the rest of his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 9th 2023, at 11:00am at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. Memorial contributions may be made in Mark's memory to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd, Suite #130 Lanham, MD 20706.
