Mark J. Felicia, 65, of Oneida, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday with family by his side. He was born and raised in Syracuse, NY to Anthony and Maryann Felicia. He attended Our Lady of Pompei Grade School and served as an Altar Boy at the church. He graduated from Bishop Grimes High School and attended SUNY Morrisville, studying automotive technology. Mark worked in the auto industry including owning his own garage, working at numerous auto dealerships, and lastly as Service Manager at Wilbur Duck in Oneida, NY. Outside of work, he was always helping friends and family with their auto repair needs. His love of cars spanned Mark's whole life including: Camaros, drag racing at ESTA Track and getting his NHRA license. One of his favorite pasttimes, starting with 500 clams, was to cook and barbeque for his family and friends. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and yet his family still loved him.
Mark was predeceased by his father, Anthony Felicia.
He is survived by the love of his life, Diane Longley; daughter, Charlene (Dennis) Perkins; son, Anthony (Brittany) Felicia; step-sons, Ronnie Felicia, Kevin (Allison) Longley and Jason (Ashley) Longley; mother, Maryann Felicia; brother, Anthony (Susan) Felicia, Jr.; grandchildren, Bella, Mason, Miles, Mia, Joey, Tyler, Cole, Hannah, Logan, Gracie, J.J., Jayden; countless nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Beats.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 25th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 26th 10am at Our Lady of Pompei Church in Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wanderers Rest (Animal Rescue) in Canastota, NY.
