Mark E. Benz, 56, of Syracuse, passed away March 11, 2022 peacefully at the VA Medical Center.
Mark was born in Syracuse, New York on December 28, 1965 to George and Georgia Benz.
Mark was an avid NASCAR, Toronto Blue Jays and Dallas Cowboys fan. A devoted rock and roll KISS fan. Mark was a proud Navy Veteran. He was 3rd in command at the American Legion Post 1276. Mark worked at J.D. Carton & Sons for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by Father, George A. Benz in 2016.
He is survived by his Mother, Georgia Benz; Brothers, Michael (Carleen) Benz, Robert Benz, Ronald Benz; Three Nephews, Jordan Benz, Michael S. Benz, Jase N. Benz; Aunts, Nancy Fowler, Diane (Patrick) Hill; As well as many cousins.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. To view services virtually click here
Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
