Marjorie A. “Marge” Stebbins, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024.
Born in Syracuse, Marge was one of five children born to the late Anthony and Marjorie (Burns) Neveldine.
She carried many fond memories of the years she worked, as branch manager, in the local banking industry. There, she developed and maintained strong and long-lasting professional and personal relationships that survived decades.
Marge was a devout Catholic and long-time communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, where she derived great strength and immense joy from attending daily mass.
She had a huge heart and compassion for those less fortunate. You could often find a box in her dining room that she was filling for the church food pantry or donations for the poor. She was especially generous when it came to requests for charity, always going above and beyond. These traits have been passed down through the generations that follow her.
Above all else, Marge loved and cherished her family and friends with all her heart. She was their biggest cheerleader and best confidant.
Marge will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; siblings: Sister Mary Carolyne of Jesus, Burns Neveldine and Joan Jones; and son-in-law Christopher Olson. She is survived by her children Craig (Leslie) Stebbins, Donna (Ted Dunaway) Olson, Scott (Kelly) Stebbins; granddaughters Michelle Stebbins and Felicia (Derek) Joss; great-granddaughter Cali Kurtz; brother Peter (Arlene) Neveldine and numerous nieces and nephews.
