Marjorie A. Burch

Marjorie A. Burch, 90, of Syracuse, passed away November 30, 2024. 

Marjorie was born in Mansfield, Ohio on October 1, 1934 to the late Paul and Helen Sheffield. 

A Central Tech Nursing graduate, Marjorie was an LPN at St. Joseph’s Hospital for over 23 years. In her free time she was an avid bingo player but most of all loved to spend time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her partner, Victor VanSlyke; sisters, Rosalie Acre and Lorraine Bisick; brother, Richard Allen Sheffield; son-in-law, Michael Kunzmann and brother-in-law, Richard Hoover

She is survived by her daughters, Susan A. (Dan) Farrell and Vicki L. Kunzmann; two sons, Robert D (Cassie) Burch and Brett A. (Linda Barker) VanSlyke; sister, Kathleen Hoover; grandchildren, Jennifer Fontana, Kelly Perales, Nicole Sax, Angela Incassati, Anthony Incassati, Rachel VanSlyke, Reverie Larkin; 11 Great Grandchildren. 

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1-4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service at 4 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at North Syracuse Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Francis House.
