Marjorie A. Gonyeau, 85, of Brewerton, passed away peacefully at home. She was born on February 16, 1929 daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Diaferio. She grew up on the northside of Syracuse and attended North High. In her earlier years she was employed by Associate Discount Corp.in Syracuse. She later transferred to the Lynwood, CA branch to assist in its Grand Opening. After returning to Syracuse she was employed by Western Union and JM Fields. She lived in Brewerton for 50 years where she volunteered at the Brewerton Library, was a communicant at St. Agnes Catholic Church, enjoyed the game of Golf and loved cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Gonyeau in 2012.
Surviving are daughters: Kathy (Michael) Wright, Karen (Don) Wise, 4 grandchildren: twins, Kelsey & Kristopher, Connor and Haley.
Services will be private.
