Marion Elva Coe, 82, of Central Square passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Oswego, she worked at General Electric for many years. Elva sang with the Binghamton Chapter of Sweet Adelines and did volunteer singing with the Hamer Singers in area nursing homes. She is predeceased by her husband Paul who died in 1999.
Surviving are two sons; William Seymour and Robert Coe, two daughters; Cherie (Robert) Campbell and Paula Lowe, a brother; Albert Wygant, two sisters; Pearl Babiarz and Ruth Ketchum, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
