Marilyn R. Knoop, of Cicero, passed away December 15, 2017.
Marilyn was born in Lockport, New York on March 25, 1933 to the late Elvin and Ruth Neidlinger. Marilyn retired from Nichols Market. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her Zumba class. Marilyn was a member of the United Methodist Women and volunteered for North Area Meals on Wheels and Cradle and Beyond Shop at Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Elvin and Robert Neidlinger.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James L. Knoop; two sons, Donald R. (Pamela) Knoop, and David J. (Jessica) Knoop; sister, Beverley Rhine; and three grandchildren, Janice (Nathan) Proctor, Phillip Knoop and Skylar Knoop.
A memorial service was held Sunday January 7th at 2PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
