Marilyn C. Button, 78, passed away on Wednesday at her home with her loving family by her side.
She devoted her life to be a great Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a dedicated SU Sports and NY Yankees fan. In her earlier years, she was Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America. She was a major 'ELVIS' fan, which she enjoyed many concerts with her sisters.
Marilyn was born on June 25, 1938 the daughter of the late Stanley and Eleanor Nendza. She was predeceased by her husband, William and her sister, Judith Tifft.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Timothy P. Button, Thomas F. Button, and William J. (Pamela) Button, Jr., grandchildren, William IV and Erika, brothers, Kenneth (Anne) Nendza, Frederick Sr (Donna) Nendza, Ronald (Margaret) Nendza, sisters, Gail Storer, Laurie Chappell (Michael), Darla Brickman (Michael), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday July 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
