Marilyn M. Bronchetti, "Candy", 73, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Yager, Annette (Jimmy) Whitmire; her seven grandchildren, Melanie Yager, Joseph (Alyssa) Yager, Robert Edwards, Ryan Edwards, Katie Yager, Dante Whitmire & Alexus Whitmire; her siblings, sister, Priscilla (Grant) Cummings and brother, John W. Taylor Jr. along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Bronchetti; parents, John Taylor & Grace Taylor and her sister, Carol Rookie.
Marilyn was born in Syracuse, NY and raised in North Syracuse, New York. Marilyn received the nickname "Candy" during her adolescent years as she would take her allowance and go to the corner store and buy candy to share with her friends. Marilyn met the love of her life while attending Contemporary School of Beauty where she obtained her cosmetology license. Marilyn worked in the beauty industry for many years before changing her career and retiring as a Job Coach for Arc of Onondaga. Marilyn's nature is to care for others where she truly felt rewarded assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and helping others achieve their fullest potential.
Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn found her greatest joy in spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, her family, traveling with her husband and caring for her animals. Marilyn was an angel on earth, a gentle soul who cared about the well-being of others and always put others needs before her own. Marilyn touched the hearts and souls of every person she met. Her presence, grace and beautiful smile can't change the world but her smile changed the world of those around her. She will be truly missed, WE love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck, "WE LOVE YOU".
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4PM-7PM service following promptly at 7PM, New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY. A private burial will be on Friday, May 31, 2019.
